Safety

Our guides are professionally prepared on safety and rescue by Red Cross and Rescue 3, carrying on every trip a first aid kit and VHF radio. There is always a van or 4 wheel drive within radio contact for emergencies.Rural Puebla is a very safe and welcoming place to visit. Contrary to what you sometimes read in the press, personal safety in these areas is not a big issue. Most violent crime in Mexico is clustered in the border areas or is an outcome of drug wars.If the trip interests you but you have personal safety concerns please contact us and we can discuss this in detail. Most of the roads and trails we use are very lightly traveled making biking safer than it is on our busier roads in North America. All restaurants and hotels we visit have been checked out in advance are clean and sanitary. Like the locals we will use only bottled water
